The men in the white hats are bosses....
Two monster trucks were in operation.....
An overhead steel truss will run from the yellow arrows on the left to
the yellow arrows in the center......it should run over to the red arrows..
That big block of concrete does not belong in the center......the concrete
divider that starts on the bridge should run past this block of concrete
toward Mkt Sq...the signs over the north bound lanes could say ....
"LEFT TURN W. CHURCH ST" & "MARKET SQUARE"
This is what I am getting a lot of e-mails a day about....this is poor design
in the eyes of many (which don't count)...
Yellow arrows indicate the beginning of the center concrete divider....
Notice the rebars.....Red dots indicate the width of the divider....
North bound lane to left......left turning lane to right ( you will use
this lane to turn left and go east on interstate 180) down ramp "D"
Blue arrows indicates the concrete center divider mentioned in the
above photo....Red dots indicate the left turning lane to east I-180...
This is the south wall of MSE ramp "C".....next to I-180 west bound...
Pier # 4 ready for the concrete...
Pier #4 un-wrapped.....
It looks like they may be installing the ramp beams next week...
These were observed on the Basin St off ramp on Friday 18th...
These beams are for ramp MSE "C"....
Starting at 9:00 a.m. on Monday , one lane of I-180 will be closed.
This means that they will install ramp beams from the bridge to MSE ramp
"D" first. The interstate (one lane) will remain closed until 2:00 p.m.
They will do the same on Tuesday....
See that LIGHT STANDARD to the upper right......Thats the kind of lights
they should have on the bridge.....The old 1951 bridge had them.
