This is ramp "D" down ramp to I-180 east.....Friday Aug 31, 2007....
They are getting ready to install curbing and finish up the north bound
approach to the bridge....Aug 31, 2007
Today Friday Aug 31, 2007, they removed the concrete barriors
that were across the openings of the obsevation decks...
There are steel pins (red arrows) on the blue lifting device
that go into holes in the concrete barrior........
They lifted them up over the railing and down to the causeway....
Taken from the S.Side dike (levee)...
This is what the observation decks look like... A bench will be added.
