This small section is between the SPUI and the ramp.....

I'm putting this picture on the web on Wed 12th.....I imagine this section has
concrete already....I was not on the  SPUI section today....
These rebars come from TITUSVILLE FABRICATORS  in Franklin..
They are #10s.....1.270 in dia......the weight lb. per foot is 4.303

They are blacktopping all the way up against the MSE ramps........I wonder
if they will remove those concrete barrior blocks .....

Received an e-mail from a gentleman from Newberry.....Looks like
he has been snooping around the bridge.....He said he named this
pier ...."Mighty Mouse".....If you ever traveled Via Bella, you will
see why.....

Here we are looking at the ISLAND at the top of "C" ramp.....its an UP ramp...
notice how the edge of the island is chamferred......

Wed morning Sept 19, 2007 (not the 20th) the workers are getting
the forms ready to pour the last concrete barrier block.along the MSE

This is what the pre-cast concrete blocks look like that go along the
top edge of the MSE (ramp).....the rebars will be covered with concrete
to hold them in place...
