Looking west at the new railing on the north skateboard ramp that connects
with the dike...Nov 8, 2007
This is looking west at I-180 west of the bridge. Gerry and his crew removed all
of the temporary concrete barriers..............the one in the center is permanent.
In 2008 this section will get a final layer of blacktop.
The following pictures are the placement of the box beams
for the south scateboard ramp on the S.Side dike Nov 9, 2007.

One of the box beams parked on E. Second Ave...
This is the rear section of the truck that transported the box beams
from Cressona to S. Williamsport on Nov 8, 2007 (date on picture is
wrong ) a man can walk back of this section with a control switch
and guide this section while the driver in the truck backs up.
A man stands to the rear of this assembly with a control in his
hands and steers it while the truck backs up. (notice the front wheels
out of line)
And they can back it into any hole they want....this is under the bridge
on the new E.Second Ave connecting road....
Let it be known.....I do not know who these birds are....I do know that
they jumped off a train that passed by..
These are the piers that the beams will set on..
See the man on top of Pier #1.....He is marking out the placement of the
black mats that the beams set on.....now this worker knows what he is
doing....he had a lot to do with the placement of the 98 ton beams on the
main bridge..
