This picture shows the truck backing up over the railroad tracks.
The man in the back is steering the rig at the end of the beam.
The driver does not worry where the back end is....he just has to
control the tractor....
The beam to the left is between the bridge and Pier #1...
Beam # 1 from the dike.
Box beam # 2 swinging into position....
This is one of the beams that will go between Piers # 1 & # 2....
Now here is a fellow with a very pleasant personality.....

Nov 10, 2007 AM....looks like the ramp beams are all in place....
Only two box beams wide....
This is the joint on top of Pier #1.....they are not bolted down so they can
move with the bridge..
This is on top of Pier # 2.....notice these beams are bolted down....
