Heres a photo that will be history when they demolish the old bridge....
Its the intersection of the Mulberry Street ramp and the Market Street
ramp as can be seen to the right (Market Street sign)

Mulberry Street ramp in 1949......
In the photo above......the green steel beam is the same as the beam in
the black & white photo I took in 1949.......First Street was on the back
side of the beam in both pictures.....Mac
Looking up at old bridge concrete pier...The part that is missing was
removed by the contractor to make room for the new bridge....notice
the old steel rust........Mac
